For a long time, when it comes to Denmark, the first thing that comes to mind must be fairy tales, antiquity, and romance. These words seemed to have become synonymous with Denmark from the moment Andersen appeared. Nowadays, Denmark has gained a new label, which is the 'European Robot Valley'. Denmark is one of the major centers for robotics innovation in Europe. According to the 2022 Odense Robotics Insights Report, Denmark's robotics, automation, and drone industries generated a revenue of 2.8 billion euros in 2021 and are expected to reach 5 billion euros by 2025.
Denmark is a member of the Patent Cooperation Treaty, as well as the World Intellectual Property Organization and the vast majority of international intellectual property agreements. Denmark has still joined the Nordic Patent Cooperation Organization and the Global Patent Examination Highway (PPH) project, and signed a PPH pilot project agreement with China.
