Denmark, capital Copenhagen, is located in northern Europe. It borders Germany to the south, the North Sea to the west, and Norway and Sweden across the sea to the north. It belongs to temperate oceanic climate. The terrain is low and flat, with few types of natural resources. Apart from oil and natural gas, there are very few other mineral deposits.

These words seemed to have become synonymous with Denmark from the moment Andersen appeared. Nowadays, Denmark has gained a new label, which is the 'European Robot Valley'. Denmark is one of the major centers for robotics innovation in Europe. According to the 2022 Odense Robotics Insights Report, Denmark's robotics, automation, and drone industries generated a revenue of 2.8 billion euros in 2021 and are expected to reach 5 billion euros by 2025.
Denmark is a member of the Patent Cooperation Treaty, as well as the World Intellectual Property Organization and the vast majority of international intellectual property agreements. Denmark has still joined the Nordic Patent Cooperation Organization and the Global Patent Examination Highway (PPH) project, and signed a PPH pilot project agreement with China.
