2. Greece is mainly managed by the Trademark Office of the Industrial and Industrial Property Office, and the official language is Greek.
3. The registration of Greek trademarks follows the principle of "application first", but in certain special circumstances, trademark rights can also be claimed based on "prior use".
4. Greek trademarks adopt the Nice classification and accept multiple types of applications. The elements that can be registered as trademarks include: text, names, letters, numbers, graphics, three-dimensional logos, sounds, slogans, and combinations of the above elements.

Therefore, trademark registration in Greece can be processed through "single country registration", "EU registration", or "Madrid International Registration".
The trademark is valid for 10 years from the date of application; Renewal can be processed within 12 months before the expiration date, with a grace period of 6 months (with additional fees) and a validity period of 10 years.
After the expiration of the renewal period, the trademark registration certificate can be applied for cancellation or re registration, but if the trademark owner does not agree to the cancellation or re registration, the trademark shall not be transferred to anyone or made a registered trademark.
If a trademark has not been used for five consecutive years, an application for revocation can be filed.

5. The power of attorney signed by the applicant. This power of attorney needs to be notarized by a Greek notary public.

3. If you are a foreigner, you need to provide proof documents of your local residence in Greece (such as housing lease contract, real estate register, etc.). If you are a legal entity, you need to provide a copy of the legal entity's business license (stamped with the official seal).
4. If you are applying for a graphic trademark, you must submit a color design.
The early stage of trademark search is crucial for the successful registration of a trademark. The main purpose of early search is to avoid the consequences of trademark registration failure caused by being identical or similar to a successfully registered trademark or a trademark in the process of registration. However, the trademark search results are only for reference and do not represent the final result of the trademark.
